Best contemporaries from 2009

Contemporary ebooks are my main squeeze. I love books that will make me laugh and give me that big sigh of satisfaction at the end. Sometimes a hint of angst is nice and I love a broody hero. While there are many established authors in this group, it is great to see some incredibly cool new talent coming through. 🙂

  1. I dug The Protector, for obvious reasons – and I picked up Tigers & Devils because I’ve been trying to gain an appreciation for gay drama that isn’t sexually explicit.

    1. The Protector reminded me of Linda Howard old school stuff. It was kinda different and the author had a unique voice. Tigers and Devils was cool. I thought it could have wrapped up a little sooner, but it had a lot of elements that appeal. Sports, angst and it was set down here. 🙂
