kmmdarkfever kmmbloodfever kmmfaefever kmmdreamfever book 4

I’ve been reading the last two books in the Fever series for the past couple of days. Finally managed to pick them up, which was pretty exciting. Living at the ass end of the publishing world much? AND hardcovers put a dent in my book budget. grumble.

I’ve not read any books with a heroine for ages, apart from some re reading of Patricia Briggs. You’ll be pleased to know it was not too traumatic. 😀

The Fever series is excellent reading and I think the 3rd and 4th installments are just magic. Karen Marie Moning manages to build tension beautifully and have you on the edge of your seat. Beware of wanting to stay up till the wee small hours with your nose in a book!

I’ve wondered a bit while reading Dreamfever if she’s allowed herself an out for futher books about other characters. I have my fingers crossed!! The world building is so incredibly cool, so it would sad to not see more of it once Mac’s story is finished.

For a couple of great reviews, check out these links Faefever and Dreamfever. Seriously cool urban, paranormal fantasy and a series I highly recommend.

  1. I’ve read the first one and have book 2 on my ebookwise, with book three as an audio. Every time I finish a book I think next I’m going to read book 2 in the series, but then pick something else. I think it’s because I know I’m going to love them, so I’m saving for when I’m in a serious slump.

    How stupid of me. LOL

    1. I have been doing the same. It is addictive and after finishing the 4th last night I am now jonesing for the final book. Will be ages I am sure. *whine* She is SOOOOO good. The world building is so incredibly good, you just tend to loose yourself in the books and suddenly it is midnight and you’ve bags under your eyes. heh.

  2. I looooved the first three books. Bloodfever is still my favorite. I really want to read Dreamfever, but I hear the ending is the mother of all cliffhangers. Therefore, I’m forcing myself to wait ’til I can read it back-to-back with the final book.

Until then, I’ve been satisfying myself with spoilers. Yes, I am naughty. 😀
